Welder Skills
This is a commercial app for networking with colleagues and for watching educational videos. It requires a subscription for which you pay, so I haven't tried this myself. Anyway, looks useful.
Welding Positions
This app describes groove and fillet welding positions as defined by ASME:
1G = flat
2G = horizontal
3G = vertical
4G = overhead
5G = multiple

Welducation Basic
An app with two very different parts: a quiz and a game. Playing the Quiz repeatedly, there are always different questions.
In the game part, you face excellent 3D graphics. The rest of the app looks plain, and the navigation controls might be first a bit hard to notice. However, don't give up at the first glance: once you continue to use the app for while, the overall experience is smooth.

In the implementation of the Quiz, I liked the time pressure – you have to answer quickly – and the chance to see your results on an international leaderboard. The latter one requires registration which could mean that you get some marketing e-mails later.
